What we record when a card is scanned
When someone scans a QR code from a printed card we record the time of the scan, which offer page was opened, a coarse device kind (for example “iOS”, “Android”, “desktop”) and the referring site if there is one. We do not record precise location, we do not use device fingerprinting, and we do not build advertising profiles of the people who scan.
Contact details captured on an offer page
Some offer pages invite you to enter an email address or mobile number in exchange for a coupon code. This is always optional and always opt-in: you must tick the consent box before anything is stored. The consent language shown is:“I agree that FridgeWorthy Mail may share my contact details with this business so it can send me this offer and follow up about its services. I can ask to be removed at any time.”
Who sees what
A business sees only the scans, taps and consented contact details belonging to its own offer page. FridgeWorthy Mail staff can see all records in order to operate the service. Nothing is sold to data brokers.
Advertiser information
Business contact details, artwork and offer copy supplied during an application are used to design and print the card, to bill for the spot, and to contact you about the run.
Keeping and removing information
Scan events are kept as long as the advertiser's account is active so their reporting stays intact. To see, correct or delete your contact details or your account records, email info@fridgeworthymail.com.
Questions about this notice
Privacy questions and data requests go to info@fridgeworthymail.com.
Homeowners
Homeowners never need an account and never buy anything here. Receiving the card in the mail requires nothing from you, and scanning a code is entirely optional.
